Think of a fictional character, celebrity, or historical figure you can relate to. Create an allusion that connects your personality or experiences to that person. Explain why you chose that reference.

Prompt: A fictional character that I can relate to is Ted Lasso. Like him I am a very optimistic person, I help my friends find solutions to their problems and I try to always have a upbeat attitude. Just like his famous "Believe" sign that hangs above his office door, whenever my friends are going through something, I'm there to remind them that things will work out even if it's tough or complicated. I chose this reference because like Ted Lasso, I listen to people without judgement, and I try to encourage people when they need it. I connect with how he never gives up on supporting the people around him and pushes people to do there best, as I try and do the same so the people close to me can succeed.

Summary: Today we took notes on Rhetorical Analysis.

Reflection: This will teach me how to properly write a Rhetorical Analysis Essay. It will also help me be able to identify rhetorical devices in a text which will give me a better understanding of the text.
