Write about a fear you have overcome.

Prompt: A fear I have overcome is my fear of sharks. When I was around 6 years old my dad and I got stuck in the water with a sand shark. I was already fairly scared of sharks at that age, so being stuck in the water with one made me terrified. As I grew older the fear slowly started to go away, but not completely. When the Georgia Aquarium opened their shark exhibit, I remember being very excited to go see it, which made me realize I wasn't scared of sharks anymore. Now I love sharks and I think they are very fascinating creatures, and though they can sometimes appear scary, I have to remind myself that they most likely won't hurt me.
