Working with others can expose you to ideas or perspectives you may not have considered on your own. What is one idea, suggestion, or approach from a group member that improved your paragraph or changed the way you thought about the argument? Explain how it helped you.

Prompt: One suggestion from a group member that helped improve our paragraph was changing the word "value" to "worth". We had already used the word "value" a few times in our paragraph and we didn't want it to sound repetitive. Someone suggested that we change it to "worth". We all thought this was a great idea and felt it gave the paragraph a better sound and more meaning. This was a great change to our paragraph and helped with the overall flow of the text.

Summary: Today in class we worked in our groups and completed our argumentative paragraph.

Reflection: Working in groups helps open you to new ideas and ways to effectively write an argumentative paragraph. It can also help you with social skills which will help you succeed better in life.
