Think about the word or phrase you find yourself using the most right now. What is it, what does it mean, and why has it become part of your everyday vocabulary? Explain when you typically use it and what your choice of this word or phrase might reveal about you.

Prompt: A word that I find myself using a lot right now is "like". The word "like" can be a verb, preposition, adverb or a filler word. I find myself using this word mainly as a filler word. I use it a lot when I am talking because I tend to find that when I am still thinking about what I'm going to say I say "like" as a filler word to let me process my thoughts. I use the word "like" almost every time I talk, which is probably a bad habit, but I don't really care enough to break that habit. I'm not sure what this reveals about me other than the fact that I can sometimes take a while to form my thoughts, especially when I'm talking.

Summary: Today in class I wrote an argument paragraph.

Reflection: Writing an argument paragraph is going to give me the practice I need for becoming a better writer. It also allows me to know what parts of my writing I need to improve on and to practice what we have been working on in class.
